The new Audi A3 Allstreet can now be ordered in Spain with the 40 TFSIe plug-in hybrid engine with 204 HP of power
It has barely passed since Audi expanded the offer of the new A3 with the 40 TFSIe and 45 TFSIe plug-in hybrid engines, the latter of which is sporty, at which time they also announced that sooner rather than later the plug-in hybrid engines would also arrive on the market. Let us remember that if we opt for the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSIe we will have a plug-in hybrid system under our hood composed of a 1,500 CC TFSI evo2 gasoline engine that sees some components improved and now delivers 150 HP, while the electrical part runs at charge of a permanently excited synchronous motor with 85 kW and a torque of 330 Nm that is integrated into the automatic transmission crankcase S Tronic. Both engines manage to deliver a combined power of 204 hp (150 kW) and a per motor of 350 Nmallowing it to accelerate to 100 km/h in 7.4 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 225 km/h.
As part of this hybrid system we have the new 25.7 kWh power batterywhich is double that of its predecessor without hardly increasing the size, although what does increase is its autonomy in fully electric mode up to 141 kilometers. Its energy can be partially recovered through the deceleration or braking phases, either to a greater or lesser extent using the different degrees of recovery that we can select through the steering wheel paddles. Obviously we can also do it by plugging the Mode 3 cable supplied as standard into the electrical current, achieving go from 10% to 80% load using direct current up to 50 kW in less than half an hour. Using AC charging points or public charging stations with three-phase AC charging. up to 11 kW the recharge lasts 2 hours and 30 minutes.
By choosing the Audi A3 Allstreet 40 TFSIe we will have the same finishes as for the rest of the engine range, so from the Advanced access finish we will find elements such as the 17 inch wheelsAudi Drive Select dynamic driving system, stationary air conditioning and new graphics for the Audi Virtual Cockpit and the MMI display for the necessary information of the hybrid system.
